Task
Work as a team to design an innovative tool, product, or service that adds value in practice. Use new technologies to meet the requirements and trends of the future. Particularly valuable: at the expo, you will find countless logistics experts for exchange and sparring. The solution provides answers to the central questions:
- What problem is being solved and what status quo is being replaced?
- Which customers, market needs, or internal stakeholders are being addressed?
- What development steps are necessary to achieve this?
- How can economic efficiency be ensured?
Let your team's creativity run wild! You can draw inspiration from a technology toolkit and future scenarios – or bring your own ideas to the table.
The future scenarios describe some trends and challenges for logistics and supply chain management arising from politics, society, and the economy:
- Protectionism and trade restrictions
- Migration and labor shortages
- Sustainability and cross-border CO2 pricing
- Cyber risks and AI risks
The technology toolkit contains building blocks that will be usable in the future, such as
- High data availability for forecasting demand and consumer preferences, real-time tracking at item level, and individual consumption histories (“product passport”)

- 23.10.2025, 15:15 – 15:50 Uhr: Präsentation aller Teams & Auswahl der Top 3
- 23.10.2025, 16:45 – 17:05 Uhr: Final-Pitch der Top-Teams mit Jury-Voting
- Where? In the CX area of BVL Supply Chain CX 2025. The finalists' pitches will take place on Thursday evening directly before the CX Party on the LogTech Stage.
- Who? Teams of 2-4 young professionals (under 35 years) from one or more companies can apply. We are particularly interested in teams from manufacturing and retail, but we are also open to other backgrounds, including professionals from consulting or logistics service providers, for example. The main requirement is a passion for innovation.
- How? You will develop innovative solutions based on potential future scenarios, drawing on your expertise and background. Experienced mentors with academic and industry backgrounds will be there to support you.
